When children are 2 to 3 years old, the Try bike can be used in the second position, the two-wheeler. With only 2 Allen keys you can easily convert the low tricycle to a low two-wheeler. Remove the wheels and replace the long rear axle with a short axle with 1 wheel. This begins the next phase of learning how to ride a bike, finding your balance. In the beginning it is still a bit awkward and children miss the stability of the third wheel. After some practice and some trial and error, they often get the hang of it and it doesn’t take long before they’re racing down the street. With the unique footrest, children later learn to balance even better and cycling with pedals becomes a piece of cake.
